Harrier Jump Jet
The Harrier Jump Jet was a British designed military jet aircraft capable of Vertical/Short Takeoff and Landing (V/STOL) via thrust vectoring.
This involves changing the direction of the engines thrust from a horizontal direction to a vertical direction.
Harrier Pencil Sketch
The Harrier is showcased here as the subject of several types of aircraft art. The first example is a digitally produced
pencil sketch of the Harrier GR1.
The aircraft was developed from the prototype airplanes P1127 and the prototype airplane, the Kestrel aircraft.
These were eventually developed into the Hawker Siddeley Harrier.
The second image of the Harrier in action is that of an ink sketch.
Harrier Ink Sketch
The RAF ordered a modified P1127 Kestrel, which became designated as the Harrier GR1. Further development work in the UK
and USA saw the introduction of the AV-8B Harrier.
The final image in this Harrier portfolio is that of watercolor effect type image.
